CAR 02 |
As you may be aware, Variety South Australia is part of a volunteer based international children's charity, known as the "heart of show business", that raises money for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children. The money raised in this State, is spent on the children in our State or in special circumstances part funds could be allocated to support recognised Variety International programs eg The Variety Lifeline Club Foot Project, whilst endeavouring to contain administration costs to a single percentage figure of net funds raised. This is due in no small way to the fact that the majority of people who work for Variety do so in a voluntary capacity.
Variety SA is consistently named in the top 10 best performing Variety organisations in the world and was awarded the Bronze Heart Award in 1996 and 2003, the Silver Heart in 2006 and was overwhelmed to be awarded the Gold Heart Award for the Best Performing Variety organisation in the world, in May 2008 at the Variety International Convention in Auckland.
We, and hundreds of others like us, raise money for Variety through the events such as the Variety Bash, Variety SA 4WD Challenge and V2 Classic Bike Run. These events together with other fundraising initiatives, have between them raised over $27 million net, are successful because of the amount of support they receive from the entrants, their sponsors and the general public and hence the reason for this letter.
The costs of participating in the event are borne personally by the entrants. These costs include entry fee, vehicle supply, maintenance and running costs, meals, accommodation and merchandise. All fundraising and sponsorship money is paid to Variety and directly benefits children in need.
Would you
please consider making a tax deductible donation to Variety – an official

Kind regards

CAR 02 |
This year Lynx Security have once again entered the Variety Bash to help raise money to assist Variety, The Children's Charity SA. We have restored a 1975 Ford F100 at our own cost and our theme will be S.W.A.T as Bash Car Number 02.
To make this possible and
support the children we are asking you to assist this worthy cause through
providing sponsorship and donation opportunities. This year there are 4
levels of sponsorship available.
Sponsorship at all 4 levels includes placement of your company logo or name
prominently displayed on our vehicle which often includes media coverage.
